The Almost Faithful is a Seattle-based trio whose songs blend elements of alternative and progressive rock with post-punk. “We strive to write haunting melodies that float over unconventional song structures”, says songwriter/guitarist John Feodorov. “Our lyrics tend toward the philosophical with a bit of attitude and the occasional smirk.”

The Almost Faithful formed in 2015, after John put out a call for experienced and sensitive musicians interested in exploring something new. With tastes spanning 1960’s British Hard Rock, Prog, Art Rock, Post-Punk, and even Medieval music, their songs fuse an eclectic mix of influences into tasty riff-driven alternative rock.

In early 2016, the NW Music Scene blog stated that The Almost Faithful “…takes you on a journey that is at times progressive, often alluring, into a dreamscape of sounds that is touched by the grit of grunge, just like Seattle.” Their first single, My Soul Is Saving Me, was enthusiastically described by Stephen Graham at KNDD radio as sounding “straight out of a Quentin Tarantino film.”

With John taking over lead vocals, the band’s sound has leaned toward a more aggressive feel, allowing both Hal and James to spread their virtuosic wings, creating a complex groove-worthy foundation for John's staccato guitar style.
